The Third World Movements Against the Exploitation of Women (TW-MAE-W) envisions the total liberation of women from all kids of oppression and exploitation based on sex, race or class.
The Third World Movement Against the Exploitation of Women (TW-MAE-W) mission is to work towards the transformation of structures and persons through two levels of involvements:
MACRO: By addressing the global situation and tracing injustices and inequalities to forces that work together in their international operations;
MICRO: By unshackling persons, particularly the sexually exploited and abused, from unfreedoms and creating space to be more authentically human.
MACRO LEVEL:
1. To forge a network among individuals or groups interested in responding to general and particular cases of exploitation of girls and women; 2. To collaborate and seek assistance from domestic and international organization such as the United Nations, in pursuit of common goals and strategies for the advancement of women; 3. To build an international solidarity among women who struggle against all forms of sexism, racism and neo-colonialism, and who risk much for the sake of equality, peace and genuine development.MICRO LEVEL:
1. To provide for direct to marginalized women and girls in distress; 2. To undertake projects to meet their economic, educational, physical, spiritual, psycho-social and cultural needs of these women and girls. 3. To work for the empowerment of women and girls through these services, educational campaigns, advocacy work, among other means.
